NIRA West Coast Region
We compete in the Western Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association.
Competitions are against schools such as Cal Poly, West Hills, Feather River, Lassen College, UNLV, and several others. The top individuals from our region compete at the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper Wyoming.
Since 1946, the Fresno State Rodeo Team has maintained a tradition of excellence. Thanks to a long line of talented coaches, we have had individuals, as well as men's and women's teams, represent the West Coast Region at the National Level.
