Our Team
There are 50 members in our club, and they compete
in a variety of rodeo events. The women compete in Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, Team Roping, and
Goat Tying. Men’s events include Bareback, Saddle Bronc, Tie Down Roping, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling, and Bull Riding.

Maren Powers

I'm a senior this year majoring in ag education. Go Dogs!
Andee Poole
VICE PRESIDENT
I'm a sophomore and majoring in Pre-Nursing. My events are team roping, goat tying, and breakaway.

I'm a sophomore majoring in Animal Science. My event is breakaway roping.

I'm a sophomore majoring in biology. My events are breakaway and team roping.
Our Coach
Uhuru Adem is the head coach of the Fresno State Rodeo Team. He is an alumni of Fresno State and the Fresno State Rodeo team himself. Once a college national finalist in saddle bronc riding, he continues to compete despite his busy schedule.
NIRA West Coast Region
We compete in the Western Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association.
Competitions are against schools such as Cal Poly, West Hills, Feather River, Lassen College, UNLV, and several others. The top individuals from our region compete at the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper Wyoming.
